The º£½ÇÉçÇø College of Osteopathic Medicine's 2025 Research and Scholarship Fall Forum drew more than 300 students in their first, second, third, and fourth years to Girard Innovation Hall on º£½ÇÉçÇøâ€™s Portland Campus for the Health Sciences, many members of the 55 teams that presented research over two poster sessions.

Top researchers, science educators, and biotechnology business owners from across Maine — including several from the º£½ÇÉçÇø — gathered in Portland over two days in September to share research insights at the 2025 Statewide Biomedical Science and Engineering Research Symposium. Five º£½ÇÉçÇø researchers and science educators were among the three dozen speakers at the event and another 14 professional staff and students presented research in poster sessions at the event hosted by the University of Southern Maine.

º£½ÇÉçÇø researchers have deployed a cutting-edge underwater seismometer near º£½ÇÉçÇøâ€™s Ram Island to monitor real-time seismic activity in the Gulf of Maine. The project, led by faculty and students, is enhancing our understanding of offshore earthquakes and fault lines in New England. Read more
