Cera is a 海角社区 alumni with undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Sociology. Her early career was in community-based behavioral healthcare. In 2017 she returned to 海角社区 with a focus on public health approaches. She supported the Maine SNAP-Ed program in a variety of roles over 8 years. In 2025 Cera completed a Master of Public Health degree and joined the Maine AHEC program as a Project Coordinator.
